Informations about the FS2 with the Celestron CGE Pro mount


Im Original-Zustand wird die Celestron Ultima Montierung von einem Servo-Motor angetrieben. Um die FS2 mit dieser Montierung verwenden zu können, muss der Motor durch einen Schrittmotor ersetzt werden. The original Celestron Ultima mount is driven by a servo motor. If you want to use the FS2 with this mount, you must replace the original motor by a stepper motor.

Umbau der Celestron CGE Pro Montierung

Die RA und DE Antriebe sind gleich aufgebaut. Bei beiden Achsen wird ein SECM5 Schrittmotor mit 10:1 Vorgetriebe eingebaut.
Weil der Einbau recht kompliziert ist, empfehle ich die Montierung zu mir zu schicken.

 
 

Motor kit for Celestron CGE Pro mount

The motors and gears atre identical at the RA and DE. At both axes a SECM5 stepper motor with a 10:1 gearbox is used.
Because the installation is quite complicated, I recommend that you send the mount to me.

Detailbild des Rektaszensions-Antriebs, mit Abdeckung. Der Motor steht nicht nach außen über die Abdeckung hervor, aber das Loch in der Abdeckung ist notwenig wegen der Wandstärke der Abdeckung. Wenn man möchte, kann man das Loch zukleben.

Neben dem Motor-Set benötigen Sie nur noch eine FS2. Die maximale Schwenk-Geschwindigkeit hängt davon ab, welche FS2 Version Sie verwenden:
 
FS2 Version:
12 Volt 100x = 0.4°/sec
30 Volt 200x = 0.8°/sec
Mit 40V Spannungswandler 240x = 1°/sec

Besides the motor kit you need only a FS2. The maximum slewing speed depends on which FS2 version you use:
 
FS2 version:
12 Volts 100x = 0.4°/sec
30 Volts 200x = 0.8°/sec
With built-in 40V converter 240x = 1°/sec
